ParkinsonCare network launched in Czech Republic

On the 14th of November, ParkinsonNet was invited to Prague to take part in the start of the ParkinsonCare network in the Czech republic. ParkinsonCare is a physiotherapy network coördinated from the university hospital (VFN Praha) and is led by physiotherapists and ParkinsonNet trainer Ota Gál. Together with ParkinsonNet trainer Maarten Nijkrake, twentyfive physiotherapists followed a three day basic course about physiotherapy in Parkinson’s and were certified as ParkinsonCare therapist. The ambition of ParkinsonCare and ParkinsonNet is to further expand the network throughout the Czech Republic and by adding other health care professionals.
